21 April 2014 Update!

Hola Everbody!

Here's some highlights of the past couple of weeks!

Last Tuesday Jeff was able to visit with our friend, Pastor Franco Lopez.  He has been serving the Lord for a long time and planted several churches in southern Mexico. They were able to pray together before Jeff left.  We received word that God called Pastor Franco home last Friday.  We're thankful for the opportunity Jeff had to visit with him one last time on this side of eternity.  Please pray for his family who are grieving the loss of a great servant of God.

Sandi Bridges came back to Oaxaca last week as a part of a Vision Team from her church.  We were blessed to serve with Sandi in Peru and on a couple of occasions in Oaxaca.  Now, she's all grown-up and is a leader of missions mobilization in her church.  We had a great visit to a village in southern Mexico with a small church in need of some encouragement and training.  This village has few believers and there are villages surrounding them with no churches.  We are praying for Sandi and her church as they decide whether or not to come back and take on this task.

Meeting some great people is a benefit of being a missionary.  Would you add Pastor Hector to your prayer list?  In this photo, Jeff and Hector are sucking down some coconut milk.  Please pray for Hector and his wife, Maria, as they lead a small church in southern Mexico.  Pray that they would be encouraged even during difficult times.  Their village is struggling with unemployment and poverty.  Pray that they will be able to minister to the people in their village.
